A Complete Wireless Alarm, Sized for a Whole Property

This is the largest of the ARC3800H bundles: nine devices around one hub, covering motion, entry points, audible warning inside and out, and two ways to arm it without touching your phone. Everything talks to the hub over two-way radio, so there is no cabling to run between devices — which is what makes it realistic to fit to a building that is already finished.

• Three paths to the outside world — Ethernet, Wi-Fi and 4G LTE. Cellular backup matters more than it sounds: cutting the internet is the first thing a prepared intruder does, and this kit keeps reporting when that happens.
• Visual verification built in — The PIR camera sensor attaches an image to the alarm, so you can check whether it is a genuine break-in or the cat before calling anyone out.
• Encrypted, frequency-hopping radio — AES128 encryption with two-way frequency hopping, which resists both eavesdropping and the jamming attacks cheap 433MHz kits are vulnerable to.
• Inside and outside sirens — An indoor siren drives an intruder out; an outdoor siren tells everyone else. Most budget kits include one or the other.
• Room to grow — Additional Dahua wireless sensors pair to the same hub, so the kit is a starting point rather than a fixed ceiling.

Where It Fits

Suited to larger homes, offices, retail and warehouse sites — anywhere with enough doors and open floor area that a two-sensor starter kit would leave obvious gaps. Because it is entirely wireless it goes into an occupied, finished building without chasing walls, which makes it a practical retrofit as well as a new-build choice.
