Bosch CM368B — Solution 6000 3G/4G and Ethernet Module, Bring Your Own SIM
A dual-path communicator for the Solution 6000: 3G/4G cellular and Ethernet on one enclosure-mounted board, with a SIM socket you supply the SIM for. Cellular gives the panel a reporting path that survives a cut phone line or a failed internet service — the failure mode a determined intruder engineers deliberately.
Key Details
- Two independent paths — Ethernet as the primary route with cellular as backup, so one cut cable does not silence the panel.
- Bring your own SIM — Use any carrier's data SIM, which keeps the running cost under your control rather than tied to a subscription.
- Survives line cutting — The classic attack on a monitored alarm is to cut the incoming service; a cellular path makes that pointless.
- Enclosure-mounted PCB — Fits inside the Solution 6000 enclosure rather than needing its own housing beside it.
- 3G and 4G — Falls back to 3G where 4G coverage is marginal, which matters on rural and industrial sites.
Where It Fits
Monitored commercial sites and any premises where the alarm reporting path is itself a target. Choose this version if you want to control the SIM and its plan; the MY368AU is the same hardware on a MyAlarm SIM subscription.
