Two-Wire Simplicity With an IP Door Station

The KTD01L(S) bundle takes the same 160° fisheye VTO2202F-P-S2 door station used in Dahua's IP kits and puts it on a two-wire backbone. A VTNS1001B-2 controller sits on a DIN rail and carries both power and data to the door station and the 7-inch monitor over a single pair — so you get modern hardware on cabling that may already be in the wall.

What Makes This Kit

• Modern station, old cabling — The fisheye door station and touchscreen monitor are the same hardware used in the IP kits; the two-wire controller is what lets them run on a single existing pair.
• DIN-rail controller — The VTNS1001B-2 mounts in a switchboard rather than being left loose in a cupboard, which keeps the install tidy and serviceable.
• Daisy-chain capable — The monitor supports daisy chaining, so additional indoor stations can be added along the same run instead of home-running each one.
• Sealed and impact rated — IP65 and IK07 on the door station, in anodised aluminium, so it holds up at an exposed entrance.
• Six alarm inputs on the monitor — The indoor station doubles as a small alarm interface with six inputs and one output, useful for a gate contact or a panic button.

Where It Fits

Best where you want current-generation intercom hardware but re-cabling is impractical — an apartment, a renovated house, or a property where the entrance is a long way from the living areas. If you are starting from bare walls and can run Cat6, the fully IP version of this kit is the more flexible choice.
