4K Detail with a Remotely Adjustable Zoom

The Hikvision DS-2CD3686G2HT-LIZSY is an 8MP bullet camera with a motorised varifocal lens, suited to entrances, driveways, car parks, warehouses and perimeter runs where you may want a broad scene one day and a tighter, more detailed view the next. The 2.7–13.5 mm lens is adjusted remotely at commissioning time, and DarkFighter S imaging together with Smart Hybrid Light keeps footage usable as light levels shift.

• Resolution: 8MP (3840 × 2160)
• Lens: 2.7–13.5 mm motorised varifocal
• Night Lighting: IR + white light, up to 60 m
• Protection: IP67 · IK10 · NEMA 4X (-Y)

Why It Earns Its Place

Set the Framing After Mounting

Begin with a wide angle to take in the whole area, then remotely tighten the zoom so the pixels concentrate on a gate, doorway, traffic lane or other priority spot. Built-in autofocus takes the fiddly part out of final adjustment.

Alerts Worth Acting On

On-board deep-learning analytics can distinguish people and vehicles within supported motion and perimeter rules, which cuts down on false triggers caused by irrelevant movement.

Night Vision That Adapts

Smart Hybrid Light pairs infrared with white supplementary lighting. Run it discreetly on IR, keep full-colour detail under white light, or have the lighting change behaviour when an event fires — whichever suits the location.

Ready for Harsh Positions

The metal body stands up to weather and tampering alike, and the -Y variant adds NEMA 4X anti-corrosion protection for sites with moderate corrosion demands.

Frequently Asked Questions

What does the 2.7–13.5 mm lens give me?

It allows the installer to pick anywhere between a wide overview and a closer, more detailed frame without swapping lenses — handy when the ideal viewing angle can't be confirmed until the camera is on the wall.

How does Smart Hybrid Light behave?

The camera carries both infrared and white light. Depending on the mode you choose, it can watch discreetly under IR, deliver colour detail with white light, or change its lighting response when a configured event is triggered.

Is there a built-in microphone or speaker?

No. This model offers line-level audio input and output for compatible external audio gear. If you want audio without adding hardware, look at a model with an integrated microphone or speaker.

What does the Y suffix indicate?

The Y version carries NEMA 4X anti-corrosion protection. Hikvision rates it for environments with moderate anti-corrosion requirements; for demanding coastal or industrial sites, the location and mounting hardware should still be evaluated.
