Dahua DH-SD1A404DB-GNY — 4MP Mini PTZ with 4x Zoom and Auto Tracking

A full pan-tilt-zoom camera at close to fixed-camera money. It rotates, tilts and zooms on command, and more usefully it can track by itself — when WizSense identifies a person or vehicle, the camera follows them across the scene rather than watching them walk out of frame. With 300 presets and 8 tours it can also patrol a set route continuously, covering ground that would otherwise take several fixed cameras.

Core Technology

• Automatic Target Tracking — When AI detects a person or vehicle, the camera pans and tilts to keep them in frame instead of losing them at the edge.
• 4x Optical Zoom — A 2.8-12 mm motorised lens covering 105 degrees wide down to 31 degrees tele, controlled from the app or NVR.
• 300 Presets and 8 Tours — Programme fixed viewpoints and automatic patrol routes so one camera systematically covers a whole site.
• 4MP Starlight Sensor — 2560 x 1440 with strong low-light performance, backed by infrared to 20 m.
• Compact Mini Form Factor — Far smaller and lighter than a full-size PTZ, so it mounts on standard brackets and suits domestic and small-business sites.
• Standard PoE Power — Runs on ordinary 802.3af PoE at around 12 W, unlike larger PTZs that demand High-PoE or mains.

Where It Fits

The entry point into PTZ for homes, small businesses, workshops and yards where one movable camera covering a wide area beats several fixed ones. Note the IP66 and IK08 ratings suit sheltered rather than fully exposed positions.
