TP-Link VIGI C540S — 4MP Pan Tilt Camera with ColourPro Night Vision

The C540S is the flagship of VIGI's pan-tilt range, and the headline is ColourPro: full-colour night vision from an ultra-low-light sensor with no IR at all, pulling colour out of scenes other cameras render in grayscale. Coverage is a full 360° of pan and 90° of tilt, and the AI suite is the deepest in the line-up — face recognition, human and vehicle classification, people and vehicle analytics, auto-tracking, intrusion and line-crossing detection all run on the camera. A built-in siren and strobe answer intruders immediately, patrol routes with up to eight presets keep it moving, and True WDR plus H.265+ keep the 4MP image clean and the files small. Power is simple single-cable PoE.

Core Technology

• ColourPro low-light imaging — An ultra-low-light sensor delivers full-colour night footage without infrared, keeping natural colour detail in near-dark conditions.
• 360° coverage with auto-tracking — Full-circle pan and 90° tilt, with AI auto-tracking that locks onto moving people or vehicles and follows them across the scene.
• Serious AI suite — Face recognition, human and vehicle classification and people and vehicle analytics run on-camera, turning raw footage into searchable, filterable events.
• Siren and strobe deterrence — A built-in siren and strobe light fire on intrusion or line-crossing, and two-way audio lets you speak to whoever triggered them.
• Patrol routes — String up to eight preset positions into a patrol so the camera methodically sweeps gates, driveways and buildings rather than watching one angle.
• PoE power, flexible storage — 802.3af/at PoE runs it over one cable, recording to microSD up to 256GB or an NVR/NAS, with True WDR and H.265+ keeping images clean and compact.

Where It Fits

The pick when one camera has to do it all — homes, yards and business frontages that want colour night footage, real AI and active deterrence in a single IP66 unit. The standard C540 covers similar ground for less if ColourPro and face recognition are overkill.
