The DS-POE-INJECTOR is Hikvision's power injector for PTZ use, delivering DC 56 V at 60 W down a single network cable. A PTZ asks a great deal more of a port than a fixed camera does, and an ordinary PoE switch port often cannot supply it. Rather than replacing a switch that is otherwise doing its job, this injector sits in the cable run and adds the power to the data, so one cable still carries everything through to the camera.
