Floor-by-Floor Lift Access for Up to 128 Levels
The VTM416 restricts which floors a person can select once they are in the lift. In an apartment building or a multi-tenant office that is the control that actually matters — the lobby door is held open half the day, so the lift car is where access is genuinely enforced. It handles up to 128 floors and cascades eight units.
Key Details
- Up to 128 floors — Per-floor permissions across as many as 128 levels, so a resident's card only lights their own floor and the common areas.
- Cascades to eight units — Eight controllers can be linked and up to 60 call-lift modules supported, covering large buildings and multiple lift cars.
- Reader flexibility — One Wiegand and two RS-485 reader interfaces, so it works with existing readers rather than forcing a change of credential.
- Alarm I/O built in — Six alarm inputs and two outputs for door status, tamper and linkage to the wider security system.
- Pairs with Dahua intercoms — Integrates with Dahua VTO door stations, so a visitor can be granted a single trip to one floor when a resident answers the intercom.
Where It Fits
For apartment buildings, hotels and multi-tenant offices where floor-level separation is required. It is also the standard answer to the common strata problem of residents being able to reach every floor in the building rather than only their own.
