Bosch IUI-SOL-TEXT — Solution 2000/3000 Alphanumeric LCD Codepad

The alphanumeric codepad for the Solution 2000 and 3000. Instead of icons, a backlit LCD spells out zone names in words — "Garage Door", "Rear Sliding Door" — across up to sixteen zones, which removes the guesswork when a zone is holding the system from arming.

Key Details

• Named zones in plain text — "Laundry Window" tells the user what to go and close; a lit icon tells them to go and count.
• Sixteen zones supported — The full zone count of a Solution 3000.
• Backlit display — Readable in an unlit entry, and legible for users who find icon panels hard to interpret.
• SDI2 bus powered — 12 VDC over the panel's SDI2 bus, so power and data share one cable run.
• Rated 0°C to 45°C — Suits an entry hall, garage or unconditioned porch.

Where It Fits

Households and small offices where more than one or two people use the system, or where zones are numerous enough that remembering the icon layout is a genuine nuisance. Costs more than the icon pad and repays it in support calls not made.
