The Modular Main Unit in Stainless Steel

The DS-KD8003-IME1/S is the same Gen2 modular main unit — 2MP fisheye camera with infrared, one call button, two lock relays, four alarm inputs — in a stainless steel housing. On a public or coastal entrance, the housing is what determines how the panel looks in five years.

Key Details

• Stainless steel housing — Resists corrosion, scratching and handling marks in a way coated finishes do not, which matters on a street frontage or near salt air.
• Fisheye camera with IR — 2MP colour fisheye with infrared supplement, covering the full doorstep after dark as well as during the day.
• Two lock relays — Gate and door released independently from one station.
• Four alarm inputs — Door contacts, exit buttons and tamper loops connect directly to the station.
• Modular expansion — Combines with keypad, reader, nametag and display modules in a shared mounting box.
• PoE or 12VDC, IP65 — Network-powered or locally powered, sealed to IP65. A mounting bracket is required and sold separately.

Where It Fits

Choose the stainless variant for commercial frontages, apartment blocks and coastal sites. For a sheltered private entrance the standard housing performs identically for less.
