Bosch IUI-SOL-ICON — Solution 2000/3000 LCD Icon Codepad

The entry-level codepad for the Solution 2000 and 3000, and the one most households actually get on with. Zone and area state show as lit icons across up to sixteen zones on a backlit LCD, which is quicker to read at a glance than scrolling text. Powered from the panel bus at 12 VDC, with up to four keypads per panel.

Key Details

• Icons, not text — System state reads at a glance from the door — no scrolling, no menu to step through to see which zone is open.
• Up to sixteen zones displayed — Covers the full zone count of a Solution 3000 and twice that of a Solution 2000.
• Backlit LCD — Legible in a dark hallway, which is exactly where a keypad usually lives.
• Powered from the panel — 12 VDC over the panel bus — no local supply, one cable does power and data.
• Four per panel — Put one at each entrance the household actually uses.

Where It Fits

The default keypad for a domestic Solution install and the one supplied in the Solution 2000 kit. Where the user needs zone names in words rather than icons, the IUI-SOL-TEXT alphanumeric pad is the better choice.
